Sunday- A Day of Rest

After two grueling days of hills in Amish country and the worst bike trails ever yesterday afternoon, we are taking a much needed day of rest! While our spirits and morale our high, my body says “no” this morning. I have felt terrific every morning, but today we needed to stop.  We have not had a complete day of rest from the beginning.

We probably have about 55 miles left to go, including the Cuyahoga National Park, which should be a photographic treat.

Yesterday was cold, and windy in the beginning. I had everything that I could find to wear. I wore a long sleeve winter biking shirt, short sleeve polyester biking shirt, and two biking jackets, topped off with an LL Bean rain jacket! It all came in handy on the speedy downhills hitting 20 to over 30 mph!
